To keep your jewellery at it's very best:
-
If you don't have a jewellery box, we advise you to keep your jewellery in the box it came in.
-
Chemicals like chlorine & salt can damage your jewellery, so avoid wearing whilst swimming or when in the shower. If your jewellery becomes wet, make sure to dry it well.
-
Always remove necklaces before sleeping and avoid storing jewellery in humid environments such as the bathroom.
-
It's best to remove jewellery whilst cleaning, using tools or in situations where rings, bangles or bracelets are likely to get knocked against hard surfaces or come into contact with chemicals.
-
If your silver/plated jewellery becomes tarnished which is a normal occurrence, we recommend gently using Silvo Polish Wadding. This will act as both a tarnish guard and remove the tarnish itself leaving you with a shining piece of jewellery once again. Please follow the instructions.
-
Oxidised silver jewellery should not be cleaned with jewellery cleaning dips or aggressive polishing that will strip the blackened surface. If cleaning is necessary, use mild dish detergent and soft toothbrush with as little rubbing as possible.
